CIEH Level 1 Food Safety Awareness Certificate
The CIEH accredited level 1 food safety e-learning course is ideal for employees with a minimal or no prior food safety knowledge. This is the minimum requirement for a preserve making business.
This level 1 food safety e-learning course, provides delegates with an understanding of the importance of food safety, is suitable for those handling low-risk or wrapped food or even for those working front of house such as waiting or check out staff, as well as back of house such as kitchen porters or warehouse staff. This essential course could also be included in new employee inductions.
The level 1 food safety e-learning course includes quick review to ensure optimum learning and covers the following subjects:
- The importance of food safety.
- Food hygiene.
Assessment and certification
All delegates will be assessed through a multiple choice exam consisting of 30 questions. On passing, delegates will achieve a nationally recognised Certification.
